RECOUNT
1. My Best Friend, Haruka
In Senior high school, I had best friend from Jepang. Her name was Haruka. She was beautiful, smart, and low profile. Because of that, many people loved her, included of me. Even though she was from foreign country that considered by many students she would be arrogant, but Haruka was different. She was a good girl.Haruka and I became good friend each other. I was really glad having friend like her, although she was from rich family and I wasn’t. She enjoyed having a friend like me and there was no problem, for her, to share everything to me. For the example, when she had something, like knowledge, foods, or even gifts, she would give to me. Then, I did the same thing like her, if my mom made a food in which my mom usually made a traditional food, I would give that food to Haruka. We ate together, we had fun together.
One day, I was invited by Haruka’s family to attend Haruka’s birthday. I came to the building where she held her birthday party. I was very surprised when I looked to the building. It was very luxurious and the entry had a quite beautiful decoration. I felt afraid to go inside. So, I only waited on the outside of the building, more precisely, I stood by the fence. After several minutes, I saw Haruka went out from the building. Oh my god!, she saw me. Soon after that, she came to me and asked why I did not come in. I did not answer, I only smiled. Then, she said to me that her birthday would not be started without me. I was very touched in hearing that and I hugged her. Then, Haruka and I came in. Many guests had arrived and suddenly they looked at Haruka and me. I was very shy. Then, the party started. Before that, Haruka’s parents introduced me to the guests that I was the best friend of her daughter.
Furthermore, the thing that made me surprise that Haruka’s family wanted me follow them to holiday in Japan next month. Off course I want because it must be interesting experience. Many people gave applause to me and Haruka’s family. I was so touched and on that place I wanted to cry. I was fortunate having friend like Haruka and knew Haruka’s family well.
2. Pangandaran Beach
The tour to Pangandaran Beach started on holiday last semester. We
decided to go to Pangandaran Beach by our motorbike. That was very interesting
tour. Riding a motorbike from my hometown, Cirebon, to Pangandaran Beach with
my best friends made me feel exited.
The tour to Pangandaran Beach began at 09.00 a.m. in the morning and it
took 5 hours riding to Pangandaran Beach. There were so many story that my
friends and I got when we were in the tour such as there was my friend who got
lost, ran out of fuel in the middle of jungle, and so forth. But it was
interesting, because it was the first moment that I ever had in touring.
We arrived at Pangandaran Beach at 02.00 p.m. and we stright to move to
the beach. At beach we just lied down there to stretch our muscle because of 5
hours riding. We also had a lunch there by eating some foods that we brought
from Cirebon. That was very nice moment when we shared our own food to others.
After we had enough rest, we began to explore Pangandaran Beach.
Started by exploring the beach, and the sea using rented boat. Then we went to
dive by renting some diving equipment. We could see many coral there. We just
had 2 hours to enjoy Pangandaran Beach because we had to come back to Cirebon.
We came back to Cirebon at 04.00 p.m. It was imposible to ride in the
night, so we just decided to stay over in our friend house in Ciamis and we
started to come back in the morning. That was very nice experience that I and
my friends ever had. We would never forget that moment.
3. Going
To Sanur Beach
Last holiday our family went to Bali to have picnic. We went there by plane.
We were in Bali for six day, so we had to stay in a hotel because we didn’t
have any relatives there. We stayed in Bali beach hotel near Sanur beach. When we came to the hotel, we didn’t come to our room directly but we have to check in first. We were received by the receptionists who were friendly and kind, and then we were helped by a room boy who took us to our rooms.
On the second day we visited Sanur beach. We just took a walk because the beach is in front of the hotel. We walked along the seashore, played water and sand. Actually we also wanted to swim in the beach but the lifeguard didn’t allow us.
Besides doing many activities we also watched some foreign tourist’s activities. They were lying on the beach, while others were having massage or surfing. When we felt tired, we took a rest to have some meals and drinks; and at 2.0 p.m. We went to the hotel. It was tiring but we were happy.

Although I didn’t win anything, the international day was still fun.
5.
holiday Fun
Last summer I had a nice holiday. I visited some
great places. I went to the airport and will fly to Cleveland. I spent three
days there. I am glad to see some of the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game.
Then I went to Hollywood.
Hollywood is a famous district in Los Angeles, California,
United States. It has become world famous as a center for the film industry.
Four major film companies - Paramount, Warner Bros, RKO and Columbia - had
studios in Hollywood. I do not want to leave, but I had to leave her. After
that, I went to the city of New York. I visited the Statue of Liberty is very
beautiful. I went from the bottom of Manhattan to the top of the crown. It was so amazing. The place makes me feel at home, but I have to go home. Next time I'll get back to them very enjoyable.

REPORT
1. Jaguar
Jaguar or
Paanthera Onca is the only one of the world's 'big' cats which inhabits in
American continent. Jaguar used to be the top predator in American continent
long before human expansion. Nowadays, Jaguars are facing great danger of
extinction. They are having completely disappeared from a number of areas. Here
a description of Jaguar.
The Jaguar
is the third biggest Cat in the world behind the Tiger and the Lion and is well
known for its immense power and agility. In fact, the name Jaguar is said to
come from the Native American word ‘yaguar’ which means ‘he who kills with one
leap’. The Jaguar is a large and muscular animal that has a heavier and
sturdier body than that of a Leopard. They have a large, broad head with jaws
so strong that they are said to have the most powerful bite of all the world's
Cats. Jaguars tend to have a cover of either tan or dark yellow fur, which is
dotted with darker rose-like patterns that are actually used for a perfect
camouflage in the surrounding jungle.
Jaguars are
indigenous to the Western Hemisphere, where they primarily inhabit the tropical
rainforests of Central and South America. Although the historic range of the
Jaguar stretched across the whole continent and even into the southern states
of the USA, they are today confined to remote pockets of rainforest
particularly in the moist Amazon Basin. They are nearly always found close to
water and prefer either permanent swampland or seasonally flooded
forests.
Jaguar is a
solitary animal with the exception of the first couple of years that Jaguar
cubs spend with their mother. Males are particularly territorial and although
their home range will overlap those of a number of females, they will defend
their patch fiercely from other males. Jaguars mark their territories with
urine, by scratching marks onto trees, and by growling vocal calls.
The Jaguar
is known to be a formidable and aggressive hunter and is thought to eat more
than 80 different animal species in order to supplement its diet. Medium sized
mammals make up the majority of the Jaguar's diet including Deer, Capybara,
Peccaries and Tapirs. When in the water, Jaguars hunt Turtles, Fish and even
small Caiman when the opportunity presents itself.
The Jaguars
once are found in throughout American continent. However, due to hunting for
their fur and habitat loss has led to drastic declines in population numbers.
They are today very, very rarely seen in the USA and are considered endangered
throughout much of their natural range. The Jaguar is listed by the IUCN Red
List as an very endangered animal. Although the exact population number is
unknown, there are about 15,000 Jaguar individuals left roaming the rainforest
today.
2. Panda
The Panda is
a species of bear that is found in the mountains of central and western China.
One of the most famous and easily identifiable animals in the world, the Panda
is also considered as one of the rarest animal and is under immense threat in
its natural environment, primarily from habitat loss. Here is a description
about the Panda.
The Panda is
a medium to large sized bear that like other species has a large head, short
tail and a long muzzle with a large nose, which gives them an excellent sense
of smell. The thick fur of the Panda is creamy-white in color with large patches
of black on the limbs, shoulders, ears and nose, and distinctive black patches
around their small eyes.
The Panda
eats almost only bamboo and so has a number of physical adaptations to help
with its consumption including an extension of their wrist bone which acts a
bit like a thumb, allowing the Panda to grip onto bamboo stems. They also have
large jaws with strong jaw muscles that along with their flat molars, allow the
Panda to crush bamboo stems and leaves in order to extract the nutrients.
The Giant
Panda is a solitary animal that occupies a territory marked with secretions
from scent glands and scratch marks on trees. Male Giant Pandas roam home
ranges more than double the size of a female's, with his territory overlapping
those of several female Giant Pandas with which he holds breeding rights. Giant
Pandas breed between March and May. After a gestation period that lasts for
around five months, the female Giant Panda gives birth to one or two cubs in
the base of a hollow tree or cave. Panda Bear cubs are very underdeveloped at
birth measuring as little as 15cm and weighing only 100g.
Due to the
large size and unique habitat of the Panda, adults have no natural predators
within their cool, bamboo-filled world. Humans however are the biggest threat
to Pandas in the Chinese mountains as they have hunted these remarkable animals
for their unique fur. Although harsh punishments for poaching have now slowed
hunting down, Pandas are under extreme threat from habitat loss in the form of
deforestation for agricultures and residences.
Today, the
Giant Panda is listed by the IUCN as being an animal species that is endangered
in its natural environment and faces extinction in wild in the near future if
more is not done to protect it. Although the Chinese government has created 33
Giant Panda reserves and more than 50% of its natural habitat is now protected
by law, less than 1,500 individuals are thought to remain in the wild. .
Extensive research continues to go into preventing the Giant Panda from becoming
extinct but it simply cannot survive without its unique bamboo forests.
3. Planet Jupiter
Jupiter is
one of planets in our solar system. Jupiter is named after the king of the gods
in Roman mythology due to its size which is the biggest in the solar system.
Here is a description of planet Jupiter.
Jupiter is
the most massive planet in our solar system, more than twice as massive as all
the other planets combined. Its atmosphere resembles that of the sun, made up
mostly of hydrogen and helium. Jupiter has four large moons and many
smaller moons in orbit around it. Jupiter by itself forms a kind of miniature
solar system. All told, the immense volume of Jupiter could hold more than
1,300 Earths.
The colorful
bands of Jupiter are arranged in dark belts and light zones created by strong
east-west winds in the planet's upper atmosphere traveling more than 640 kph.
The white clouds in the zones are made of crystals of frozen ammonia, while
darker clouds of other chemicals are found in the belts. At the deepest visible
levels are blue clouds. Far from being static, the stripes of clouds change
over time. Inside the atmosphere, diamond rain may fill the skies.
The most
extraordinary feature on Jupiter is undoubtedly the Great Red Spot, a giant
hurricane-like storm seen for more than 300 years. At its widest, the Great Red
Spot is three times the diameter of the Earth, and its edge spins at a speed of
about 360 kph. The color of the storm, which usually varies from brick red to
slightly brown, may come from small amounts of sulfur and phosphorus in the
ammonia crystals in Jupiter's clouds.
Jupiter's
gargantuan magnetic field is the strongest of all the planets in the solar
system at nearly 20,000 times the strength of Earth's. Jupiter spins faster
than any other planet, taking a little under 10 hours to complete a turn on its
axis, compared with 24 hours for Earth. This rapid spin makes Jupiter bulge at
the equator and flatten at the poles, making the planet about 7 percent wider
at the equator than at the poles.
4. Milky Way Galaxy
We live in a
planet called Earth. Earth is one of eight planets which orbit a star called
Sun. Sun is one of billion stars spread out around a galaxy named Milky Way
Galaxy. If one star consists of eight to ten planets, how many planets are in
one galaxy? The answer is uncountable. Milky Way Galaxy is one of billions
galaxy in the universe. Milky Way is the galaxy where home planet, Earth,
resides. Here are facts about Milky Way Galaxy.
Milky Way
Galaxy is an immense and very interesting place. It is measured that the Milky
Way Galaxy is 100,000–120,000 light-years in diameter. Our Solar System resides
roughly 27,000 light-years away from the Galactic Center, on the inner edge of
one of the spiral-shaped concentrations of gas and dust particles called the
Orion Arm.
Milky Way
Galaxy has over 200 Billion Stars. However this number is not fixed. It is due
to Milky Way is constantly losing stars through supernovae, and producing new
ones all the time, about seven per year. Milky Way Galaxy is a middleweight
galaxy if it is compared to other galaxy. The largest galaxy we know of, IC
1101, has over 100 trillion stars and other large galaxies can have as many as
a trillion. Dwarf galaxies such as Large Magellanic Cloud have about 10 billion
stars.
Most larger
galaxies have a supermassive black hole at the center, and the Milky Way is no
exception. The center of our galaxy is called Sagittarius A*, a massive source
of radio waves that is believed to be a black hole that measures 22,5 million
kilometers (14 million miles) across – about the size of Mercury’s orbit. But
this is just the black hole itself.
The most
recent estimates place the age of the Universe at about 13.7 billion years. Our
Milky Way has been around for about 13.6 billion, about 800 million younger
than the Universe. The Milky Way began as a series of dense regions in the
early universe not long after the Big Bang. The oldest stars in the Milky Way
are found in globular clusters, and the age of our galaxy is determined by
measuring the age of these stars.

Thunder Lightning
Lightning is
a sudden shock, very fast and the electric force between the cloud and ground,
or from cloud to cloud. The speed of lightning, or thunder, can be several
miles long. It is so hot, with average temperatures of 34,000 ° Celsius, that
the surrounding air suddenly expands with a loud explosion, and sounds. This is
what we hear thunder. Lightning occurs in hot, wet.time rain storms, humid air
is driven up to a great height. This is a type of cloud called cumulonimbus.
When the cloud rises high enough, the moisture freezes and ice crystals formed
and snowflakes. It began to fall, turning to rain on the way down. This meet is
more humid, rainy How air, and it is the friction between those who generate static
electricity. When the cloud is fully charged with electricity, it will be
discarded as a flash of lightning. So lightning suddenly appears with the rain
and the sounds are very loud and luminous.
